Hello World :)

Hi All,

Recently I found myself in a situation very similar to one about 7 years ago. Back then I was pregnant with my daughter Szederke, forced to rest as much as possible. At that time I was already an avid fan of beadwork and have made several nice jewellery items. The bedrest didn't leave me much else to do but to look up nice patterns on the internet and of course bring them to life. Then baby Szederke was born, and as it often happens , beadwork was put aside for a few months that slowly grew into years.
Few moths ago, I learned I was expecting , strict bedrest again, so of course I got back to my old crafts. Alas, we learned that we lost the baby when I was in the 8th week, but the crafty spirit stayed with me and helped a whole lot to move on. I added the last few beads, clasps to long abandoned projects, and started new ones.
I think it's necessary to point out that I do not call myself an artist for I am not one. I'm a creative person who enjoys recreating, rethinking already existing designs, who enjoys making something beautiful.  So here are some recently finished necklaces and bracelets.

This one just needed clasps attached
These were actually made by my kids

Karmen necklace-needed just a few more beads to be finished

And as I've said above, I have just started some new works. Many years ago, I got a large amount of mixed beads from my ex-mother in law. I suppose the best thing is not to try and sort them out by colour and size and whatsoever, but to work with them as they are. The result will be as cheerful as this:

Rainbow necklace and bracelet

Of course I am trying to involve my kids as well. We tried origami, xmas ornaments from baking soda (it was a hit in here this season), and recently beadwork, as you could see the bracelets above and these critters below

One of the crocs is my son's work

This blog is a jumble of arts and crafts, yes. My other sweetheart is cross stitching, and every now and then I pinch into this and that, with or without my childrens' contribution. Of course I will share whatever interesting comes up and of course if there's any pattern, link to patterns that I can provide you with I will do so.
Coming up next is a love story, me and counted cross stitch. It is a hectic relationship, you will see...
